The people of this area don’t want or need another logistics giant anywhere near here too many trucks on roads that were not built to handle them. As far as the unions go they say 1600 jobs but only till this monster is built then no union jobs only temp workers earning minimum wage and driving out the good people who won’t live near this kind of monstrosity and lowering property values. I don’t believe a word they say about support for it.

I was never polled, and I live within 10 miles of the proposed site… The area cannot support another giant bringing a huge amount of truck traffic and low wage jobs to the area.

In a nation desperate for community and unity, NorthPoint represents the opposite. Manhattan is a successful, growing and welcoming rural community. Installing these industrial sites in our midst is an affront to our community that without NorthPoint is on track to become a beautiful residential “commuter” community. NorthPoint is an affront to our community and an assault on the notion of local control over our environment.
