Dough Dash!

2021 candidates for Village of Manhattan Mayor and Trustee, Brian Giaretta and Ron Adamski, are hosting a massive Stop NorthPoint fundraiser in the parking lot of Gallagher’s Pub in downtown Manhattan on Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 7 AM to 7 PM.

For every $200 raised for Stop NorthPoint, Village candidates Brian Giaretta or Ron Adamski will run 1 mile. (100% of every dollar raised will go to attorney fees for Stop NorthPoint LLC)

7 AM – 9 AM :  Donuts and Coffee available with donation provided by Kirby’s Korner Bakery

3 PM – 5 PM :  T-Bird Huck sponsored by Manhattan Strong Illinois + Erin Gallagher & Assoc. (bring your own chair!)

Stop NorthPoint merchandise will be available for sale including T-shirts, hats, and yard signs.  (Profits will go to Stop NorthPoint attorney fees.)

Show your elected officials how you feel about NorthPoint by coming to this event wearing any/all anti-NorthPoint gear you already have.

The Stop NorthPoint fundraiser was a huge success! Including donations for cookies/donuts, pies, t-shirts, hats, yard signs, and the 50/50 raffle, we collected $5,197.00 for this one day alone – Amazing!

THANK YOU to everyone that came out to support us – residents, business owners, community leaders, and local politicians, everyone who donated, and every single passing car that honked (we loved the non-stop honking!) We had supporters from Manhattan, Elwood, Joliet, Wilton Center, New Lenox, Frankfort, Plainfield, Channahon, Manteno, and even some from Chicago!

Thank you to our volunteer team, Muggsy Gallagher, the Luering family, Laura Lynn, Tricia L Maas, Shelley Peterson, Lisa Witt, and Brian Giaretta’s family… all of them stood in the hot sun and collected money from passing cars. Wow!

Thank you Manhattan Strong Illinois and Erin Gallagher & Assoc. for providing live music by T-Bird Huck. Thank you T-Bird… that was awesome!
